Summary Overview Of Standard Transit Container Requirements:

  • Evidence from a structural design engineer (P.E.) that load path is suitable for the lifting, transportation and impact loads expected. (All of Dolphin's equipment has third party certified engineering designs)
  • Design working stress based on 2.5 times the maximum gross weight of the transit container (Dolphin's equipment designed for at least 3.0 times the maximum gross weight).
  • Four lifting points are required (Dolphin's equipment utilizes four corner posts for lifting).
  • Pad-eye fabricated to hold the maximum gross weight of the transit container (Dolphin's equipment designed with
    3 to 1 safety factor
    ).


Tracking and Certification Database

Dolphin Energy Equipment maintains an online database, which allows fast retrieval of equipment certifications.

 

Internally the database allows Dolphin employees, to can quickly see all of the Dolphin equipment used by your company, as well as how long each piece of equipment has until it needs to be re-certified, and a scanned copy of all certification papers.
